Event Highlights:

(1) Leading performing artistes of Singapore from diverse community groups bring you a rare experience of Indian classical and folk dances, songs, devotional music etc on the theme of Bhagavad Gita.

(2) Devotional (Bhajan) concert by Kumar Vishu (India), a renowned devotional singer from India. With over 200 devotional chartbuster albums, he holds the best selling devotional album record with T-Series titled, “Ramayan ki Choupaiyan and Pyaase ko paani pilaya nahi”. His melodious & mellifluous style of singing bhajans makes him a hot favourite. Kumar Vishu has won a number of awards such as President’s Award, Rajdhani Ratan, Bhajan Samraat, Bhakt Shiromani, Cinema Century Award etc.
Accompanied on keyboard by Sanjay Bhardwaj (India) and percussionists from Singapore.

Gita Jayanti 2018-18 is led by Odia Society of Singapore with the support of various Indian community organizations and temples of Singapore, under the auspices of Hindu Endowments Board.
